Three prompts that do what my tools do

The real prompt patterns behind the Branding Inward tools, simplified so you can run them in any AI chat. Voice observation, the gentle roast, and the quieter plan.

These are the actual patterns behind three of my tools, simplified so you can paste them into any AI chat. I'm sharing them because the pattern is the point: the AI should observe you, not invent you. The tools do these with more care (and remember your answers on your device), but the bones are here.

One rule makes all three work: give the AI your real words as raw material. Paste actual things you wrote. The moment you let it write from nothing, you get everyone's brand instead of yours.

1. The voice observation

For when everything you post sounds like a stranger wrote it.

Here are three things I actually wrote: [paste a text to a friend, an email you liked, anything unpolished]. Study how I naturally talk. Then: 1) Name my voice in a short phrase, like a friend would describe it. 2) Quote three specific habits from my own words back to me, with examples. 3) Rewrite this bio draft in that voice: [paste draft]. Do not smooth me out. The quirks are the voice.

Or let the voice tool do it with the science built in.

2. The gentle roast

For when you keep deleting everything you write.

Read this draft: [paste it]. First, tell me the three strongest things in it that I should never change, quoting my exact words. Only after that, point out at most two places where the writing works against me, and fix each one using my own vocabulary from elsewhere in the draft. Never make it sound more professional. Make it sound more like the good parts of itself.

The order matters. Critique-first is why you delete drafts. Confidence-first is the Gentle Roast.

3. The quieter plan

For when every marketing plan assumes you'll perform daily.

I make [what you make]. Here's what I can honestly sustain without resenting it: [minutes per week, and what you refuse to do, like being on camera]. Design a marketing approach that fits INSIDE that budget. Pick ONE channel, tell me what to ignore and why ignoring it is safe, and give me one first move under fifteen minutes. Do not give me a content calendar.

The full version, with paths chosen for your energy level, is the Quieter Plan.

FAQ

Can I really just use these in ChatGPT or Claude instead of your tools?

Yes, honestly. The tools add the research grounding, save your results on your device, and connect the steps into one brief, but the core patterns are right here. I'd rather you have them than not.

Why do these prompts ask the AI to quote my own words?

Because that's the difference between observation and generation. When the AI must cite your actual words, it can't drift into generic marketing voice. That constraint is the single biggest quality lever in all my tools.

What should I paste as writing samples?

Unpolished things where you sound like yourself: texts to friends, emails you didn't overthink, voice notes transcribed. The polished stuff usually has the least of your voice in it.
